                 throws java.io.IOException

Creates a new temporary directory.

Returns:

the new temporary directory that should be closed when finished

Throws:

java.io.IOException - failed to create the temporary directory

fixed

static TemporaryDirectoryFactory fixed(java.io.File directory)

Obtains a factory that creates temporary directories using TemporaryDirectory.fixed(File).

Parameters:

directory - the directory where all temporary files will be created

Returns:

a factory that creates instances of TemporaryDirectory that creates all files inside directory
