onBatch

boolean onBatch(List<CleanupCandidate> candidates,

 CleanupNodeFailures nodeFailures)

Parameters:

candidates - qualifying candidates of the batch, possibly empty

lastScannedPath - path of the last node scanned by the batch (the resume checkpoint), never null since a batch scans at least one node

scannedCount - number of nodes scanned by the batch

nodeFailures - nodes of the batch whose candidacy could NOT be evaluated, with the first failure that did it. Empty on a healthy batch, and reported per batch rather than per unit so the count survives an interruption like the checkpoint next to it does

Returns:

true to continue the scan, false to abort the scan of this root
